Unkeywait – prevent courtesy tone loop for weak stations by extending the wait time. 1100-1300ms is best. This does not work for simplex nodes. Default is 800ms.
Restart Asterisk in client. asterisk -rx “rpt restart”
Hangtime – 800ms for bridged digital connections. This reducing re-keys to digital when the analog side suffers packet loss.
Play node connect/disconnect file for specific node # automatically. Create node#.gsm/.wav/.ulaw “/var/lib/asterisk/sounds/rpt/nodenames/node#.ulaw/gsm/wav”
Play audio file over all connected nodes “rpt playback node# /file/path/name”
